I’m Lori and I’m glad to welcome you to my very first website. I live on ten acres of pristine land in an area surrounded the Black Hills National Forest outside of Spearfish, SD. It is naturally beautiful (see above photo of backyard view) and I consider myself blessed to be here.  My family and I have been here for nearly 10 years in a home we designed. Our 2 dogs and 2 cats are equally important family members. You’ll get to see more photos of them later.

Married for nearly 22 years, Rick and I love to learn and experience new things. Time, money, and desire seem to fluctuate but sometimes come together  in perfect harmony so we can pursue our travel dreams. In summer 2007 we took our first European vacation to Italy.

We have two beautiful teenage daughters who enjoy traveling as well. Sara, our oldest, went to Costa Rica last summer with her high school Spanish club and will be going to England, France, & Italy as a People to People student ambassador this summer. Our youngest, Nicole will patiently wait her turn to travel abroad.
